Join Our Team as an HR Generalist!

Your Responsibilities
* Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition with pre-employment screenings and paperwork completion.
* Administer and manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, FSAs, life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
* Handle workers’ compensation claims, maintain OSHA logs, and manage the return-to-work process.
* Provide guidance to managers on employee relations matters and assist in resolving workplace concerns.
* Coordinate and support performance appraisal processes to ensure employees receive constructive feedback.
* Monitor employee leave eligibility and oversee leave management processes, ensuring compliance with FMLA regulations.
* Prepare and submit government reports, including annual OSHA and regulatory filings.
* Collaborate with the Payroll Department to ensure compliance with payroll policies and procedures.
* Maintain HR-related intranet pages and publish employee communications to keep staff informed.
* Create and analyze HR reports and metrics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role, preferably within the construction or contractor industry.
* Proficiency in HR software systems such as ADP Workforce Now, ATS, Ceridian, and Dayforce.
* Strong knowledge of benefits administration and compliance with federal and state regulations.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide guidance and resolve employee relations issues.
* Familiarity with FMLA leave management and workers’ compensation processes.
* Ability to prepare accurate reports and analyze HR metrics to support organizational goals.
* Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
