Utility Project Manager
Working for a consultancy designing and delivering utility diversions for major projects linked to HS2.
Location: Aylesbury (Hybrid working: 3 days on-site, 2 days from home)
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 basic + package (flexible for the right person and experience)
Role Description
The Resolute Group is partnering with a consultancy involved with HS2 and other major infrastructure projects. This role, within the Utilities division, focuses on utility diversions.
The role involves working closely with utility providers, clients, and main contractors to ensure utility diversions are managed correctly. Responsibilities include reviewing designs, overseeing approval processes, technical assurance, and managing delivery. The role also involves collaborating with contractors to deliver the package of works and identifying potential cost savings throughout the process.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Development of the scope of works for utility diversions.
2. Supporting the creation of project execution plans.
3. Performing technical assurance checks over survey scope and delivery.
4. Managing contractor and sub-contractor performance.
5. Developing works programmes for the diversion.
6. Managing changes related to the utility diversion.
7. Leading internal and external meetings regarding the package of works.
On-site work is required 3 days a week at the client's offices, with 2 days remote working.
Required Experience:
1. Formal qualification – HNC / HND or Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. Experience managing utility projects (pipelines/diversions).
3. Full driving license.
