Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and innovative Nurses or Midwives to join a forward‑thinking service that promotes integrated working with partner agencies to improve outcomes for children and families.
Eligibility criteria
* Current first‑level registration on the NMC Nursing or Midwifery Register.
* Undergraduate honours degree (1st or 2:1) or evidence of recent Level 7 study.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (reasonable adjustments will be made in line with the Equality Act).
* Availability to commence on Monday 7 September 2026.
Main duties of the job
* Work with Healthy Together to deliver a 0‑11 service in Leicestershire County and Rutland and a 0‑19 service in Leicester city.
* Complete clinical placements across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, supported by a Practice Supervisor & Assessor.
* Attend academic study at the University of Northampton, balancing theory and practice learning opportunities.
* Apply for LPT sponsorship and secure a place at the University separately.
* Potential for permanent post within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland upon successful completion of the course.

Qualifications
* Current registration on the NMC Nursing or Midwifery Register.
* Undergraduate honours degree (1st or 2:1) or equivalent Level 7 study.
* Full UK driving licence.
Experience
Experience in community nursing, health visiting or school nursing settings is desirable.

Interviews will take place at the University of Northampton on Monday 11 May 2026. Candidates must be available for the full day (08:30‑17:00).
Benefits and terms
