Are you ready to take the next step in your HR career? Our client seeks an enthusiastic and experienced Senior People Advisor to join their dynamic team. Responsible for a team of two, this role offers the chance to make a significant impact by providing strategic and operational HR support across the organization.
Responsibilities:
* Lead with Excellence: Mentor and develop high-performing teams, empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
* Engage Stakeholders: Build positive relationships to ensure HR initiatives align with business needs.
* Champion Wellbeing: Offer guidance on employee relations, wellbeing, and absence management to foster a healthy work environment.
* Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Use data analytics to inform HR strategies and improve processes.
* Promote Continuous Improvement: Implement changes to HR practices and culture to adapt to workforce demands.
* Strategic HR Support: Align HR initiatives with organizational goals proactively.
* Manage Appraisals: Oversee moderation meetings, coach managers, and ensure fair grading.
* Support Wellbeing & Absence: Advise on mental health and complex occupational health cases.
* Update Policies: Contribute to policy development and relevance.
* Lead Projects: Participate in national HR projects to enhance HR functions and business success.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (HR certifications like CIPD preferred).
* 5+ years of experience as an HR Advisor or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive situations.
* Line management experience (preferred).
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
