<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>We are looking for a qualified Educational Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) or Childrens Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) to join an existing school‑based Mental Health Support Team (MHST) in the Broxbourne area. The Broxbourne team is a fully established MHST that supports 20 educational settings across the borough.</p><h3>Key responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Work alongside qualified and trainee EMHPs/CWPs, Senior Practitioners and a Team Leader to provide early interventions to children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health concerns in an educational setting.</li><li>Deliver support year‑round, including school holidays, with core hours Monday‑Friday 9‑5, and may be required to facilitate group work or workshops outside these times.</li><li>Work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and committed to equal opportunities.</li><li>Participate in service development and contribute to the continued expansion of the Hertfordshire MHST.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & registration</h3><ul><li>Qualified EMHP or CWP.</li><li>Registered with a governing body such as BPS or BABCP.</li></ul><h3>Benefits / development opportunities</h3><p>The role provides opportunities for career development in a supportive environment with experienced leadership, ongoing supervision, and involvement in service development across a national leading MHST.</p><h3>Equal opportunities</h3><p>All applicants should be committed to equal opportunities and work with people of different cultural backgrounds and ages.</p></div>
