Warehouse Supervisor, Permanent, Larkhall, £35,600 per annum plus overtime
We are looking for experienced Warehouse Shift Leaders to work within our established warehouse & distribution team in Larkhall.
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be tasked with:
Leading a team of approximately 10 warehouse operators to achieve the highest levels of despatch accuracy and customer satisfaction
Providing effective supervision of the team directing work tasks and performance across all warehouse functions - accurate and efficient storage and distribution of goods, goods in, stock relocation, pallet pick and despatch
Managing individual attendance, timekeeping, breaks and holidays
Managing performance, identifying training needs and implementing ongoing development plans for all team members
Ensuring all Health & Safety protocols adhered to with regards to property and mechanical handling equipment; escalating any issues to Warehouse Manager where necessary
Ensuring all warehouse procedures adhered to at all times
Ensuring the accurate and efficient despatch of goods on time and in full with required documentation provided at time of loading
Assisting internal and external customers with any queries or concerns in a timely and efficient manner
Implementing stock movements in alignment with FIFO principles
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the warehouse function for internal and external customers
Maintaining housekeeping to 5S standards

Clear and assertive communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Good system knowledge including Excel
