Manager, Financial Reporting Policy and Advocacy Location : Washington DC, New York City, or London (Hybrid) Join CFA Institute’s Corporate Disclosure Policy team, where your expertise in financial reporting or investment analysis can shape the future of global disclosure standards. What You’ll Do Contribute to CFA Institute’s thought leadership in financial and sustainability disclosures. Engage with standard-setters, regulators, and policymakers, representing the investor voice in consultations, roundtables, and global initiatives. Write and publish technical articles, blogs, and comment letters that explain complex disclosure topics in accessible language. Collaborate across teams (research, advocacy, content) to align messaging and policy goals. Stay ahead of trends in corporate disclosures, including developments in financial reporting (IFRS/US GAAP), ESG, assurance, and data analytics. What You’ll Need Essential A professional qualification or track record in accounting, audit, assurance, or investment analysis : ACA, CA, CPA, CFA (or progress toward one of these). Experience working with or analyzing corporate disclosures, including financial statements, earnings reports, or regulatory filings. Strong understanding of financial reporting concepts (e.g., IFRS, US GAAP). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical topics for diverse audiences. A strong interest in policy development and regulatory engagement. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively on cross-functional projects. Desirable Exposure to sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., ISSB, CSRD, TCFD, SASB). Familiarity with regulatory processes or standard-setting bodies (e.g., SEC, FASB, IASB). All salary ranges are subject to adjustment based on experience, education, location and other factors relevant to the position.
