The Role
Kingston University London is seeking to appoint a 2-year fixed term Audio Visual (AV) Project Delivery Manager to lead and deliver complex AV infrastructure projects across the institution. With a focus on teaching spaces, specialist labs, and hybrid meeting environments, the postholder will manage AV rollouts valued over £1 million annually, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high technical standard.
The AV Project Delivery Manager will contribute to the development of AV standards and provide input into strategic planning, ensuring that AV solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with the University’s digital learning and collaboration goals. The postholder will also be responsible for maintaining and configuring AV monitoring systems, enabling proactive fault detection and performance tracking, and will train the IT Service Desk and AV support teams in their use.
The Person
The successful candidate will be an AV professional with a proven track record of delivering large scale refresh programmes to time and within budget.
You will have the ability and relevant experience to deliver projects within agreed parameters of design quality, cost and programme. You will also possess strong Audio-Visual project management, communication, and organisational skills, and be able to work collaboratively while managing and delivering the AV refresh roll out programme across the estate. ITS and the AV team sits within the Finance, Infrastructure and HR Directorate and exists to support Kingston University’s academic mission and the goals set out in its strategic plan. AV is critical to the delivery of high-quality lectures, and this is an exciting opportunity to manage the refresh of the estate as well contributing to the development of AV standards and provide input into strategic planning, ensuring that AV solutions are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with the University’s digital learning and collaboration goals.
