Banana Moon Day Nurseries is seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, working three days a week. As our Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall management of the nursery, delivering high-quality care and education to our children. In this position, you will assist the Nursery Manager in the operations of the nursery, lead a passionate team, and help foster a nurturing, stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your leadership will ensure that our educational programs are effectively implemented while cultivating strong relationships with families and staff. Key Responsibilities: Support the Nursery Manager in day-to-day operations and management. Ensure the nursery operates in compliance with all regulations and best practices. Lead and support the nursery team, overseeing their professional development. Implement and review educational programs aligned with the EYFS framework. Engage with parents and families to build strong, supportive relationships. Act as a role model for staff and children, demonstrating best practices in early childhood education. Assist with administrative and record-keeping tasks as required. Requirements Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. Previous experience in a deputy or similar role within an early years setting. Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. A passion for working with children and supporting their development. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Current DBS check and relevant training certifications.
