An ideal opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager who has worked on new build housing sites.
About the role of Engineering Manager
You will be working with a growing regional developer, based out of their office 3 days a week, and out on site 2 days a week. Currently, they have 6 live sites, located between North Lancashire and Cumbria.
Responsibilities for Engineering Manager
* Identifying design issues with challenging levels affecting part M regs etc, visiting the sites to do a report then using CAD in the head office to revise the designs to suit.
* Undertaking the managing of 278 works, highway adoptions etc.
* Oversee day-to-day engineering works on construction sites.
* Enforce health & safety protocols, manage risks, and address any issues promptly.
* Coordination and progress meetings.
Requirements for Engineering Manager
* A proven track record of delivery as a Civils/Engineering Manager within the house building sector.
* Ideally, experience working on challenging sites, with retaining structures.
* Experience using CAD or similar software.
* Relevant industry qualifications and certificates.
