Job Description A well-known Yorkshire business based between the outskirts of York and Malton (along the A64) are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis (with the potential to go permanent for the right individual). This role offers an hourly rate of £13 – £15 per hour, plus excellent benefits if it moves to a permanent contract. This role can be done on a full-time (40 hour) or part-time basis, with potential hours to suit the individual, as well as business needs. As a Finance Assistant, you will be: Supporting the finance team with transactional accounts, including purchase and sales ledgers Handling bank reconciliations and general reconciliations Assisting with the preparation of management accounts Providing general support across the finance team when needed To be successful in this Finance Assistant role, you will ideally have: Previous experience in a similar transactional finance/accounts role A proactive, self-starter approach who can pick things up quickly Strong teamwork skills and ability to support colleagues Good attention to detail and organisational skills This opportunity is commutable from York, Malton, Pickering, Scarborough, Easingwold, and surrounding areas. On-site parking is available, and due to the business's location, the successful individual will need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
