Position Description:
At CGI, we enable digital transformation that moves entire industries forward, and as a Platform Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of that mission. You’ll help build the foundations that allow our teams to deliver innovative, cloud-native software at pace and scale. Working across dynamic projects for clients in both public and private sectors, you’ll collaborate with developers, architects, and delivery specialists to automate, optimise, and secure environments that power meaningful outcomes. This is your opportunity to join a community that values ownership, creativity, and collaboration, where you’ll have the freedom to make an impact and the support to grow your career.
CGI was recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work List and has been named a UK ‘Best Employer’ by the Financial Times. We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.
Due to the secure nature of the programme, you will need to hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. We welcome applications from candidates across the UK, and Northern Ireland. Our teams operate within a flexible hybrid working model, however on-site requirements vary by project, so the ability to travel as required to meet client needs is essential.
