With new global contracts kicking off and strong product-market fit established, we’re at a pivotal stage of growth and are now hiring our first dedicated Sales Director to help scale our commercial footprint worldwide.
The Role
As our first sales hire, you’ll be instrumental in shaping and executing our go-to-market strategy. You’ll take ownership of the entire sales cycle—from lead generation and relationship-building through to deal close and account expansion—with support from the founding team.
You’ll work closely with the COO and CEO to identify, target, and win strategic enterprise accounts across sectors such as semiconductors, aerospace, defence, automotive, and industrial systems. You’ll also play a vital role in increasing our visibility in the market, running pilot engagements with leading engineering and innovation teams, and building scalable sales processes for future growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and lead our direct sales function, with full ownership of pipeline generation, client engagement, and revenue delivery
* Identify and close strategic enterprise accounts, particularly in complex B2B environments such as power electronics, advanced manufacturing, and embedded systems
* Drive new business by articulating our unique value proposition and translating technical capabilities into commercial outcomes
* Organise and manage customer pilots, ensuring alignment between customer needs and technical delivery
* Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape customer proposals and feedback loops
* Develop and implement repeatable sales processes, tools, and CRM practices to support rapid scaling
* Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and partner engagements globally
* Work alongside leadership to inform pricing, market positioning, and partnership strategies
* Play a hands-on role in building out the future sales team as the business scales
About You
* Proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally in technical or engineering-led B2B environments
* Deep understanding of power electronics, embedded systems, or advanced simulation technologies
* Comfortable navigating and influencing C-level and technical stakeholders
* Prior experience in a start-up or scale-up—you thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and know how to build structure where needed
* Commercially savvy and metrics-driven—you understand what it takes to drive pipeline and close deals
* Excellent communicator, capable of clearly articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
* Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach—you roll up your sleeves and get things done
* Experience managing international accounts or selling into global markets is highly desirable
