About The Role
Location: Exmouth HWRC, Salterton Rd, Exmouth, EX8 2NS
* Salary: £25,692.74 per annum / £12.31, rising to £12.56 after plant training
* Working Pattern: Saturday to Wednesday, with Thursday and Friday as rest days.
* Start & Finish Times: Summer (April - Sept) 08:45am - 17:15pm / Winter (Oct-March) 08:45am - 16:45pm; Weekend (April - Sept) 09:45am - 18:00pm / Winter (Oct-March) 09:45am - 16:45pm
* Progression is available for the right candidate
* Overtime is available to cover for holiday etc
* Monthly site performance bonus
What will I be doing?
Providing excellent customer service, advising and assisting members of the public on site operations to maximize material recovery, including:
* Maintaining accurate records of material removal from the site.
* Controlling container exchanges by booking loads with relevant personnel to ensure adequate space and proper segregation.
* Maintaining a tidy site within your areas of responsibility.
* Ensuring SUEZ complies with legal duties regarding health, safety, and welfare of employees and others affected by actions or omissions.
* Cooperating with SUEZ and other employees to comply with site permits, legislation, policies, and procedures.
* Performing any other duties reasonably requested within the scope of the role.
What are the requirements?
We offer opportunities to gain qualifications such as IOSH health & safety and COTC level 4 (waste industry specific). We seek an enthusiastic team player who will join the current site team to ensure operations exceed standards.
What You Will Need Is
* A good level of customer service and ability to work effectively in a team.
* Ideally, prior mobile plant operation experience, but full training will be provided.
* A flexible approach to work, including covering holiday and sick days if required.
