Our Tax team is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager to play a pivotal role in our continued success. Leading from the front, you will assist directors in providing taxation advice to clients, support your teams in delivering their work, and ensure operational objectives are met. You will maintain compliance and quality standards, identify client needs, provide proactive support and advice, adhere to our client care program, and ensure client relationships are within legislative, compliance, and quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Manage and develop team members and conduct performance reviews by setting objectives.
* Manage a client portfolio, adding value through your knowledge and skills.
* Ensure the quality of individual client assignments and complete work within budget, including audit planning and execution.
* Collaborate with service line members to scope out client requirements and ensure timely, budgeted completion of assignments.
* Liaise proactively with management (e.g., directors), providing updates and escalating issues as necessary.
* Build a network of potential new clients to identify new business opportunities, participating in marketing initiatives.
* Participate in pitching for new business and developing tender documents.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
* Possess full CTA, ATT, AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualifications, or have experience as a Tax Lead.
* Proven ability to collaborate within a team environment.
* UK Accounting/Practice experience.
* UK Private Tax advisory experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
