The Role The school is seeking a knowledgeable and organised Science Technician to support the science department. This role is essential in ensuring that practical lessons run smoothly and safely. You will work closely with teaching staff to prepare materials, maintain equipment, and support practical experiments. Key Responsibilities Prepare and set up equipment for science lessons Maintain and organise laboratory resources Ensure health and safety procedures are followed Support practical experiments across science subjects Manage stock and order supplies Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working order Assist teachers during practical sessions where required Ensure laboratories are clean, safe, and well-organised Working Environment The science department is well-resourced and highly valued within the school.
