Join to apply for the Clinical Lead - Nurse (Care Home) role at Wood Care Group.
As a Clinical Lead Nurse, we ask that you care for residents as if they were your own family, addressing their physical, psychological and social needs.
You must have your registered NMC Pin & Right to Work in the UK.
This role requires 2 days on the floor with residents and 1 full day or 2 half days in the office.
Responsibilities
* Residents Care Plans
* Managing the nurses
* Medication rounds and associated documentation in line with NMC guidelines and Company policy
* Assess all aspects of resident's care needs and provide health supervision and direct nursing care when required
* Report any ill health amongst residents and make GP / professional visit requests where necessary
* Ensure that Resident's Care Plans are correct and updated in conjunction with residents, relatives and other health care professionals and in accordance with NMC guidelines & Company policy
* Carry out regular checks on residents and complete associated paperwork
* Reporting to the Home Manager where required
* Understand and ensure the implementation of Company policies
* Promote safe working practices within the Care Centre and accurate in detail documentation
Other Duties
* Attend Staff Meetings
* Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing needs and demands of the home; participate in appropriate training and encourage and support staff in their development and training
* Ensure safeguarding responsibilities are understood and adhered to; develop understanding and skills to reduce risk of abuse or neglect to adults who need care and support; ensure safeguarding and whistleblowing policies are adhered to
* Provide evidence of any untaken training
* Comply with fire procedures and health and safety legislation and work in a safe environment
* Complete all training as determined by the home
