We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Fosse Way.
Practice Plus Group is pleased to have been awarded the healthcare contract for HMP Fosse Way, a Category C resettlement prison in Leicester, starting from 1st July 2025.
HMP Fosse Way opened in May 2023. Its state-of-the-art design and facilities provide a secure environment to offer skills and qualifications to the inmates, helping them secure meaningful employment upon release and reduce reoffending rates.
Salary
This is a full-time position with an annual salary up to £47,466, depending on experience.

What You'll Be Doing
Provide evidence-based, personalized care by actively listening to patients and acting on their feedback, focusing on emergency and unplanned care for primary and acute care needs.
Deliver non-judgmental care, build therapeutic relationships, and promote professional boundaries.
Participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, following policies and safeguarding procedures.

Qualified Paramedic
Current HCPC registration
Proven ambulance experience post-registration
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Compassionate, non-judgmental approach
Experience in A&E, primary care, or minor injuries/illness environments
Experience in hospital, community, or prison settings is advantageous but not essential.
