Hours: Full-time, hours per week
Pay Rate: £ per hour
Requirements:
1. Essential: Must be registered with the HCPC as a Biomedical Scientist OR Trainee Biomedical Scientist (Band 5) - Must possess an IBMS accredited Biomedical Science degree
Job Overview
We are seeking a Trainee Biomedical Scientist to join the HSCNI team. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral member of the laboratory team to help deliver a high-quality laboratory service contributing to efficient and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities
2. Undertake routine Laboratory investigations in the department to which they are assigned
3. Interpret, validate and report results ensuring abnormal results are conveyed to the requesting clinician, both within the Trust and to GP's, in a timely manner.
4. Post holder will manage and develop self in the field of laboratory medicine through completion of specialist portfolio (as applicable), attendance at short courses, participation in continual professional development (CPD) and "in -service" training and competence assessment. Will maintain a portfolio of personal development
