Thetford, Norfolk – RAC Mobile Mechanic – Full Time
As a member of the RAC Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you’ll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first‑class service outside of a traditional garage, ensuring every visit reflects the RAC’s commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities
* Engage with customers during driveway visits, providing service advice and representing the RAC with pride.
* Perform a wide range of light vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, adapting to varying daily tasks.
* Manage stock, complete reporting and maintain clear communication with customers throughout the service process.
* Make independent, on‑the‑spot decisions to meet each customer’s needs.
Qualifications
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent).
* At least two years of hands‑on experience as a vehicle technician working with a range of light vehicles.
* Full UK driving licence with fewer than six points.
Compensation
* Base salary of £40,170 per year.
* On‑target earnings up to £52,000.
* Guaranteed overtime option, increasing the base salary to £44,385.
* 40 hours per week (core 8:30 am–5:00 pm) with one Saturday every four weeks.
