Job Description
•Follow instructions according to Ex Chef’s directives
• Keep a clean and tidy work station at all times
• Full knowledge of menu and recipes
• Brief all sections during menu changes
• Run all services as required
• Training of teams and organization of daily tasks for each section
• Anticipate orders according to bookings and occupancy
• Keep food cost aligned with budget communicated by Director of Finance
• Assists Executive Chef with any tastings, menu changes
• Communicates with floor staff regarding food stocks, allergens and any necessary kitchen activity
Qualifications
•Exeperiance working with fresh seasonal ingridiants
• Enjoys working in a busy kitchen
• Has experience working as a Sous chef previously
• Enjoys training and developing their team
• Understands the importance of cost effective recipies, GPs
• Knows how to place orders for kitchen
