Mobile Fabric Engineer

At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We are looking for a Mobile Fabric Engineer who will be responsible for carrying out a range of general/fabric maintenance and support tasks.
Role Responsibilities
* Minor building fabric repairs, including relamping defective luminaries, minor decorating and minor plumbing repairs.
* Weekly and monthly planned maintenance tasks such as fire alarm tests, flushing of little used outlets, water temperature recording, and emergency lighting tests.
* Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours (currently 1 in 3).
* Monthly utilities meter readings.
* First line response to reactive repairs.
Required Qualifications
* Full, current driving licence.
* Background in facilities or mobile maintenance in a construction or similar environment.
* Qualification to Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds – preferred but not essential.
