The Role
They are looking for a Principal or Associate Public Health Engineer to join their team in either Bournemouth or Reading.
* Bournemouth: A well-established office with over 45 years of expertise and strong local relationships.
* Reading: A thriving hub with major transformational projects, including Station Hill, and strong connections with like-minded businesses.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll lead technical delivery, mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in client-facing activities. You’ll work on a variety of projects across commercial, residential, and mission-critical sectors, ensuring design solutions meet the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the development of strategic concepts and technical delivery of public health design services
* Managing client relationships and attending project meetings
* Monitoring resources, fees, and project progress
* Mentoring and supporting apprentices and graduates
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* Proven experience as a Public Health Engineer delivering complex projects
* Strong understanding of drainage services, rainwater, and domestic water systems
* Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
* Knowledge of relevant British Standards
* Consultancy experience and excellent communication skills
