What’s on offer: * Up to £50,000 salary depending on experience * Monday–Friday day shift with no night work * 20 days’ holiday bank holidays * Overtime paid at standard rate for the first hour and time-and-a-half thereafter * Ongoing training – informal mentoring plus formal CNC courses * Daily lean practices, including stretch sessions and team huddles * A role where your voice and ideas are actually heard CNC Turner Duties: * Operating and setting a Nakamura AS200L twin-spindle lathe (Fanuc controls) * Working to tight tolerances on small batch production * Performing in-process checks using micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc. * Supporting other areas of the workshop when machines are running (such as anodising) * Taking part in continuous improvement activities across tooling, layout, and setups * Developing programming skills over time (Fusion 360 used in-house) CNC Turner Profile: * 3 years’ experience operating and setting CNC lathes * Confident with Fanuc controls and basic offsets/setups * Competent in self-inspection and understanding tolerances * Interest in developing programming skills (training provided) * A hands-on team player with a keen eye for detail * Based within 40 mins of CR5 postcode This is a rare opportunity to join a forward-thinking manufacturer that still holds onto its family-run roots.
