Maintenance Engineer Stafford (4 day working week - Fridays off) Up to 45k Job Purpose: The Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment and facility infrastructure. The role involves carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment failures, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, aiding machine moves, updating infrastructure and liaising with servicing and insurance providers, while helping to minimise production downtime. Part of the engineering team - reporting to Engineering Manager. Key Responsibilities: Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on manufacturing equipment and site services. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out effective fault diagnosis and repairs. Maintain production machinery including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new and existing equipment. Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures. Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability and efficiency.
