About Our Client

Job Description
Coordinate and facilitate safety training sessions for employees/contractors, including induction training and ongoing refresher courses.* Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions, and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.* Assist in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, and collaborate with relevant teams to develop and implement effective corrective and preventive measures.* Manage the distribution centre's safety equipment inventory, ensuring adequate supply and compliance with relevant standards.* Liaise with internal auditors to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.* Support the HSE Manager in the development and maintenance of emergency response plans and procedures, including evacuation drills and first aid drills.* Prepare and complete daily and monthly reports on health, safety, and environmental metrics, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and areas for improvement
The Successful Applicant
A successful Health and Safety Administrator should have:* Proven experience in a similar role within the distribution or logistics industry, with a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organisation.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with safety management software is preferred.* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment
