About the role
Connex Education is in partnership with a vibrant Primary School within the Hinckley area to recruit a Sen Teaching Assistant providing 1:1 support to work on a regular relief cover basis starting in September .
You will have strong teamwork skills as the school in question has a key focus on teamwork and collaboration to be able to achieve student and school goals. This school is at the heart of a thriving and creative community, and you will need to meet high standards and match the ambitious expectations alongside the staff and the governors. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic and inclusive classroom setting. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional development of each child. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with diverse needs.

Person Specification
8. Experience working in an educational environment with children aged between 4 and 11 years.
9. Be willing to support on a 1:1 basis or work in small groups with children
10. Have behaviour management skills
11. Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc
12. Be organised and reliable
13. Have a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process a new one
14. Willing to go the extra mile!
