Excellent opportunity to take ownership of a vital role at the heart of a high-performing school. You'll lead a dedicated Estates team, shape long-term strategy, and make a visible impact across the whole school community.

This is a key leadership position where you'll have the autonomy to drive real change across estate management, compliance, and capital projects. Working as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking operations team, you'll be trusted to deliver a safe, sustainable, and future-proofed learning environment that enables teaching and learning to thrive.

In this role you will take the lead on the strategic and day-to-day management of the school estate. From overseeing maintenance, projects and compliance to leading the Estates team and managing service contracts, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, efficient, and future-focused environment for students, staff, and the wider community.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in estates or facilities management, alongside a proactive and strategic mindset. You'll be comfortable managing people, budgets and projects, with a sound understanding of health and safety legislation, compliance requirements, and sustainability planning. Experience in the education sector is beneficial but not essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to lead from the front, influence school-wide decisions, and be part of a values-led team committed to excellence and continuous improvement.

The Role:
*Lead the Estates Team, including Site and Community staff, to ensure safe, compliant day-to-day operations.
*Oversee all aspects of premises management, including health & safety, maintenance, and sustainability.
*Develop and implement the long-term Estates Strategy and Asset Management Plan.
*Manage capital projects, contracts, and procurement processes.
*Coordinate statutory compliance, risk management, and audit follow-ups.
*Maintain and monitor systems, budgets, and documentation related to estate and facilities.

The Person:
*Proven experience in estates, site, or facilities management.
*Health and Safety Qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH
*Strong knowledge of health & safety, statutory compliance, and project delivery.
*Leadership experience managing teams and service providers.
*Based within a commutable distance of Hook
