Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Christchurch
Location: Christchurch, Dorset
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time (Mon–Fri), Term-time only
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Are you a passionate and experienced HLTA looking to make a real difference in the classroom?
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving primary school in Christchurch, seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
The Role:
As a HLTA, you will:
Lead planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Deliver small group interventions in Maths, English, and phonics
Support pupils with a range of abilities, including SEN
Collaborate with teaching staff to support pupil progress
Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Experience delivering lessons or interventions in a primary setting
Strong behaviour management and classroom support skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
