The position supports patients with any type of lymphoma, coordinating care, completing holistic needs assessments, creating personalised care plans, and providing ongoing support after treatment.

Detailed Responsibilities
* Provide specialist nursing for patients with lymphoma, acting autonomously as a core member of the multidisciplinary team.
* Accept referrals within agreed criteria and serve as the key worker for a defined caseload to coordinate treatment and care.
* Offer specialist advice, education, and support to patients, carers, and health‑care professionals.
* Practice clinically in agreed care settings, advising and supporting divisions on service management.
* Collaborate across professional, departmental, and Trust boundaries to develop patient‑centred seamless care, including nurse‑led initiatives.
* Manage and support the delivery of personalised care, including post‑treatment transition and patient‑triggered follow‑up.
What We’re Looking For
Applicants should be an oncology/haematology nursing professional at Band 5 level or above, with a proven track record of professional development. Teamwork and mutual support within Cancer Care are essential.
Person Specification
Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Essential Criteria
* Registered nurse on the relevant NMC register.
* Degree qualification or equivalent 120 credits at Level 6.
* Post‑registration qualification within the speciality or equivalent experience.
* Completion of all Band 5 (preceptorship) competencies.
* Evidence of supporting/managing a range of learners in practice.
* Evidence of supporting colleagues to promote effective learning in practice.
* Extensive post‑registration experience within a specialist area.
* Knowledge of current issues within the acute health service.
Desirable Criteria
* Registered on an MSc Pathway – completion of HTPA competencies.
* Experience as a Practice Assessor or supporting learner progression.
* Counselling qualification.
* Palliative care course.
* IT training.
