Business Support Minute Taker - Children\'s Safeguarding Team

Contract: Initial 3 months
Hours: 36 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Business Support Minute Taker to join the Children\'s Safeguarding Team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support vital services that make a real difference to the lives of children, young people, and families.
You will play a key role in providing high-quality administrative support, with a particular focus on minute-taking for Strategy Meetings and other multi-agency meetings. This role requires confidentiality, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure in a sensitive and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Accurately minute and produce records of Strategy Meetings and other professional meetings.
* Prepare and type reports, letters, memos, and other correspondence.
* Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with data protection requirements.
* Provide general administrative support to the Children\'s Services safeguarding team.
* Liaise with partner agencies to ensure smooth information-sharing and communication.
* Manage incoming and outgoing mail, as well as handling telephone queries.
* Support colleagues by participating in supervision, team meetings, and training activities.
About You
We\'re looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in minute-taking in formal settings.
* Skilled in using Microsoft Word and other office software.
* Organised, with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
* An excellent communicator, able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Adaptable and resilient, able to work well in a team environment.
Qualifications & Experience (Essential)
* GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
* Proven clerical/administrative experience.
* Experience in providing word processing services.
* Ability to cope with sensitive child protection information.
