You will deliver a high-quality, flexible maintenance service supporting our commitment to excellent patient care. Your expertise will cover Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), repairs, alterations, testing, and installation of electrical systems and equipment across our Trust estate.
This role requires you to work proactively, often responding to complex faults with limited initial information, ensuring our environments are safe, reliable, and welcoming for patients, staff, and visitors.
* Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across electrical installations and services
* Diagnose and resolve faults promptly, ensuring minimum disruption
* Support capital projects by witnessing and accepting new electrical works
* Maintain compliance with all statutory and Trust-specific safety policies, including Legionella, Asbestos, and Electrical Safety
* Work safely across diverse Trust environments, including children's wards and clinical areas

* Proven multi-skilled engineering background, with a strong electrical bias
* Experience with AHUs, motors, digital Building Management Systems, and electrical testing
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Competent in interpreting schematic drawings and specifications
* Willing to participate in on-call duties and respond flexibly to service needs
* Previous hospital or healthcare environment experience is desirable but not essential
