Responsibilities
* Oversee the accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
* Manage and mentor a small team, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Review and approve supplier invoices and payment runs.
* Resolve discrepancies and liaise with suppliers to maintain positive relationships.
* Prepare and analyse accounts payable reports for management review.
* Support month-end closing activities within the Accounting & Finance department.
* Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and internal controls.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in accounts payable within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
* Previous experience managing or mentoring a team.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
