The post holder will be undertaking phlebotomy tasks on a day by day basis, This will be working across all ELHT wards and will be covering a 7 day service
Main duties of the job
For this role it is necessary that you are a caring and courteous individual that can work under pressure in a challenging environment on a variety of; medical, surgical and acute wards in the role of a phlebotomist.

Experience
Essential criteria
* Experience of working within a healthcare setting
* Venepuncture Experience
Desirable criteria
* Experience of working within an acute healthcare setting
Training and Qualifaction
Essential criteria
* Venepuncture Training
Desirable criteria
* NVQ 3 in care related field or equivalent
* Cannulation training
Skills / Abilities
Essential criteria
* Ability to work independently
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage own workload
* Computer literate
* Ability to prioritise and delegate
* Ability to cover 7 day service and meet the needs of the service including all bank holidays
Desirable criteria
* Demonstrate effective team working
