Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Lecturer in English to join our Slough & Langley College team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Lecturer in English
As a Lecturer in English, you will be joining our Ofsted Rated Good Colleges Group delivering effective teaching programs within your competency areas, focusing on developing independent learners and facilitating student progression.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with Specialist Learning Coaches to assist learners facing barriers to learning and help them overcome these barriers to ensure high levels of attendance, retention and achievement.
* Engage in the assessment of learners from application, progression, setting targets and milestones, and provide necessary support where required.
Qualifications
* Level 3 or higher qualification in English.
* A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one within the first 2 years in role.
* Experience and knowledge of ongoing curriculum development and managing the learning process.
* Proven ability to support learners to achieve high levels of attainment.
