Contracts Manager - new build alternations Ipswich and Surrounding Areas £75,000 to £85,000 plus package Our client is a respected contractor specialising in commercial projects, with a portfolio comprising 50% new build developments and 50% refurbishment and alteration works. Their projects span hospitals, hotels, schools, and heritage buildings, with a strong presence across Ipswich and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth and an expanding workload, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities: * Provide overall leadership and management of multiple projects simultaneously. * Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. * Oversee site teams, project managers, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. * Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders. * Uphold and promote the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance. Candidate Requirements: * Demonstrable experience in managing multiple commercial new build and refurbishment projects. * Proven leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate project teams. * Strong financial and contractual management skills. * Excellent knowledge of construction processes and health and safety procedures. * A valid SMSTS card. * A valid CSCS card.
