We are currently looking for an enthusiastic pastry Chef with a can-do attitude to join our pastry kitchen at our Great Amwell Garden Centre.
We would love you to have previous experience in a similar role, with good knowledge of patisserie and kitchen procedures with the ability to be able work in the pastry team. The successful Chef must be self-motivated, quality-driven, keen to learn and develop.
Salary will be dependent on experience, but you can expect your role to be varied and rewarding. There are great opportunities to develop and progress your career within the Blue Diamond Group. In addition, there is a generous staff discount and paid holiday.
Hours of work will be based on a 40-hour week working 5 days out of 7.
No evening shifts and the perfect working/family balance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· To deliver a consistent quality of a high standard for the restaurant
· To provide our customers with exceptional customer service and quality
· To assist the the head chef in controlling stock, minimising wastage and working within the budget.
· Providing a safe, secure and appealing food and beverage environment by adhering to the companies Health & Safety policies
The successful Chef will:
· Be able to work unsupervised and work well within a team
· Have a good eye for detail
