Technical Design Engineer Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, specifying, and supporting temperature solutions for industrial and commercial applications. Key Responsibilities:
* Review RFQs and tender documents for heat tracing projects.
* Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
* Coordinate with internal teams for bid inputs.
* Perform heat loss calculations and system design.
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.
* Support client clarifications and bid negotiations.
* Provide pre-sales technical support.
What We’re Looking For in a Technical Design Engineer:
Essential
* Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent).
* Skilled in AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar.
* Knowledge of hazardous area and temperature control.
* Strong communication skills.
Preferred
* Experience with international projects and teams.
* Familiar with IECEx/ATEX standards.
* Understanding of insulation, controls, and load calculations.
