What you will do: Independently assess referrals for X-Ray examinations, ensuring compliance with IR(ME)R 2000 to minimize unnecessary radiation exposure. Evaluate and ensure technical accuracy and appropriate initial image interpretation of resultant X-ray images, consulting senior staff as needed. Uphold high safety standards in operating X-Ray equipment, reporting and documenting any malfunctions promptly. Provide diagnostic image advice to clinicians, using the red dot system to highlight potential pathologies when required. Collaborate with healthcare team members to maintain seamless communication and high-quality patient care. Strategically prioritise your workload according to patient conditions and immediate care requirements. Interface with healthcare professionals to deliver exemplary imaging services. Maintain precise patient records by accurately inputting data to reflect the services provided. Requirements: Applicants must be HCPC registered.
