Job Description
The role involves playing a key part in land strategy development for wind, solar, and storage projects during the prospecting phase. Responsibilities include negotiating and securing land rights, managing relationships with land stakeholders, and supporting project managers with land issues throughout project development.
Main Responsibilities
* Managing internal land negotiations and representing EDP Renewables professionally.
* Building partnerships with external land service providers and participating in tenders.
* Understanding farming and forestry economics and regulations.
* Attending stakeholder consultations and meetings.
* Coordinating with internal and external technical, legal, GIS, planning, and development teams.
* Providing technical support on land issues and strategy definition.
* Supporting lease finalization processes.
* Implementing land-related procedures for solar, wind, and storage farms.
Required Profile
* Academic Level: Degree in rural surveying, estate management, or related fields. Chartered Surveyor status preferred.
* Professional Experience: 3-5 years in solar, storage, or wind project land management.
* Knowledge: Negotiation skills, land transactions, forestry, farming, property sectors, sustainability, and project development processes.
* Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid driving license essential.
* Languages: Fluent English.
