Job Description: We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business based in Appley Bridge who are looking to recruit a General Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and supportive finance team. You’ll be working closely with two experienced accounts professionals, gaining exposure across multiple areas of finance — this is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a well-rounded accounts career. Key Responsibilities * Assisting with Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger * Supporting the Credit Control function * Helping with general accounts administration * Processing invoices, reconciliations and data entry * Providing wider admin support across the office when required * Occasionally assisting in the on-site retail/store area (team approach – everyone chips in) What We’re Looking For * Some experience within an accounts or finance environment * AAT Level 2 (or working towards) preferred but not essential * A positive, can-do attitude — no “that’s not my job” mentality * Someone who is flexible, reliable and happy to support across the business * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn * Available to start quickly What’s On Offer * Salary of £28,000 * Annual team bonus (~£2,000) * Stable, growing manufacturing business * Supportive team environment with real variety in the role * Opportunity to develop across all areas of accounts Why This Role?
