A growing construction consultancy based in Cannon Street is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their London office. This Project Quantity Surveyor role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects across a range of sectors, working within a supportive commercial team. The Project Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in delivering effective quantity surveying services from pre-construction through to final account. This Project Quantity Surveyor position is suited to a professional looking to progress their quantity surveying career within a well-structured consultancy environment.
The Company?The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will join an independent construction consultancy with an established presence in the London market. They provide cost management and quantity surveying services across commercial, mixed-use and residential developments. The Project Quantity Surveyor will work closely with experienced Directors and Senior Quantity Surveyors, gaining exposure to a varied project portfolio within a collaborative team setting.
The RoleAs the Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, delivering core quantity surveying duties and supporting clients with commercial advice.
The role will include:Preparing cost plans and budgetsManaging procurement processes and tender documentationUndertaking contract administration dutiesValuations, variations and cost reportingAgreement of final accountsLiaising with clients, contractors and design teams
The Project Quantity Surveyor must have:A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction disciplineExperience working as a Quantity Surveyor within a UK consultancy or main contractorKnowledge of JCT contractsExperience delivering projects in the London marketProgress towards MRICS or willingness to work towards chartership
