 
        
        Job purpose:
To support my child within the home and accessing local services and social opportunities within the community.
My child is one years old and has complex needs. My child has a PEGJ tube (feeding tube), along with some other medical equipment. Training will be provided.
My Child loves being around people, loves sensory play and exploring her surroundings.
Work Duties will include:
• Identify local social activities which are appropriate
• Motivating and encouraging them to take part and try new things
• Helping them to develop social and physical skills
• Carrying our medical care when required
• Times where you will need to pick her up from special needs nursery and play with her at home/in community.
• Maintaining personal care for child e.g. nappy changes.
• Completing care dairy before the end of every shift
• Give medications as and when required and signing medication sheet.
Other requirements
• Establishing and maintaining effective communication with the child and their parents, maintaining confidentiality.
• Always ensuring the safety of the child
• Be comfortable driving with a child in a car

• DBS Check will be completed
