Shop Supervisor
Age UK is recruiting for a Shop Supervisor to join their fantastic team in Haywards Heath.
Age UK's shops are the face of the charity. On high streets up and down the country our retail teams deliver a great shopping experience to customers while generating much needed income for the charity, ensuring that we can provide services and support to older people who need it most.
Responsibilities
* Manage the shop on Sundays, ensuring it showcases donations and maintains a tidy, accessible space.
* Support sales, stock rotation, organising displays, and store tidying.
* Represent Age UK in a professional manner and reflect our core values.
* Handle/lift bags of stock up to 10 kg and perform other physical duties as required.
* Delegate effectively and work independently when needed.
* Cover extra days for holidays, sickness or shop events as required.
Qualifications
* Experience in a customer‑facing role.
* Cash handling experience.
* Ability to lift and carry stock up to 10 kg.
* Teamwork ability and the flexibility to work independently when necessary.
* Sensitivity to cultural differences and commitment to equal opportunities.
* Capacity to work additional days to cover holidays and sickness, and participate in events outside normal shop hours.

Additional Information
