This role holds responsibility for the day-to-day running of all aspects of the warehouse, from Inbound through to Dispatch, you will retain control and visibility of the workloads and manage the headcounts for the warehouse accordingly. You will be able to manage multiple areas through Team Managers and Team Leaders ensuring volumes and KPIs are hit daily and customers are serviced in a timely manner. You will support the Warehouse and Logistics Manager with the design and implementation of multiple projects in order to ensure the continued growth of the business. This role is based in our Newark Head Office. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): - Implement and improve operational processes, managing resources effectively, and ensuring the smooth running of all operational functions - Develop and implement operational strategies to support business growth and efficiency. - Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet business objectives. - Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to identify areas for improvement. - Proactively look for ways to keep employee welfare and engagement consistently high. - Lead and develop a team of Managers / Leaders - Support management of Health and Safety across the site - Take the lead with onboarding new colleagues, staff development & training as well as performance management processes Desired Knowledge Skills & Experience - Experience in driving continuous improvement within a manual warehouse - Experience in Ecom / B2B and Internal processes. - Extensive WMS experience be able to interrogate systems and build reports from the extracted data - Positive, Pro Active approach to challenges - Previous experience as a Shift Manager / Ops Manager - Strong excel experience - Any MHE licenses would be beneficial - Overtime (including weekends) would be required during key periods - Flexible, able to adapt quickly to an ever-growing constantly changing environment. - Passionate about the mission of the Cass Art group
