Role Summary
This role supports the Agile Research Delivery Team to deliver research studies effectively and efficiently in community settings across the South West, providing administrative support to the clinical and study setup teams. This position is based in our Exeter office and incorporates a combination of office-based and remote working. The post holder will be expected to travel to various community venues, including GP Practices, Community Hospitals, Care Homes, and Hospices, to assist with research study administration. Therefore, having a UK driving license and access to a car is essential.

This post will support the NIHR Regional Research Delivery Network (RRDN) expanding the Agile Research Delivery Team in the South West Peninsula, supporting research across various clinical specialties and settings such as GP practices, hospitals, care homes, and social care settings.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team working across each county in the South West Peninsula. The current vacancy offers an exciting development opportunity for a motivated, hardworking, and innovative administrator to be involved in health and social care research. Flexibility and mobility in your working approach are required. No prior research experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.
Please note a DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm.

Pay: The salary reflects the Agenda for Change 2025/6 rates, including a 3.6% pay award to be implemented later this year. If you join before the implementation, the pay award will be backdated to your start date. Until then, remuneration is based on the 2024/5 pay bandings (Pay scales for 2024/25 | NHS Employers).
