Moorside Community Primary School is seeking to appoint an excellent teacher to join our inclusive school to lead provision for SEND across our school, including working closely with staff in our SEN provisions (Little and Big Hives). We would be keen to hear about your professional experience and what you can offer. We are looking for an inspiring and professionally thoughtful candidate who must be able to use a range of pedagogical techniques and appropriate strategies to meet the needs of all children. You must enjoy working as part of a supportive team who care for each other, our children and our whole community.

Our school currently has 229 pupils on roll inclusive of 26 Nursery pupils. We have above average FSM and deprivation. The Successful Candidate Will Need To
Have a proven track record of delivering high quality classroom teaching, demonstrating strong use of adaptive teaching and effective SEND support.
Be committed to the raising of standards
Be committed to working as part of a flexible, effective team
Hold or be working towards the National Award for SEND co-ordination.
Have an excellent understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and a commitment to inclusion in a mainstream setting.
Have a commitment to the school's inclusive ethos and kindness
Be dedicated in promoting the wellbeing of all individuals
Be able to develop excellent, positive relationships with parents/carers
Be able to manage a curriculum subject
Be able to contribute to wider school effectiveness
Continue to develop the Hive SEN provisions
