Job Description
7. Assist in planning, resourcing, and structuring audit assignments.
8. Perform audit testing and review work completed by junior trainees.
9. Draft and review financial statements and audit work papers.
10. Support senior management on ad hoc advisory projects, including financial reviews and business-focused analysis.
11. Maintain strong technical standards and apply up-to-date audit methodology.
12. Build a solid understanding of clients' businesses, risks, and operational challenges.
13. Identify issues early and contribute to practical, effective solutions.
14. Coach, guide, and develop audit trainees throughout their training.
15. Contribute to achieving team targets and upholding quality and compliance standards.
The Successful Applicant
16. ACA or ACCA part-qualified or newly qualified (or equivalent).
17. Typically 3-5 years' experience in external audit (experience supervising juniors is desirable).
18. Strong understanding of audit methodology and financial reporting standards.
19. Confident communicator with the ability to liaise professionally with clients.
20. Organised, proactive, and capable of managing workloads during busy periods.
21. Keen to develop, learn, and progress within a supportive audit team.
