Offer description

Thrive on building great relationships with customers? Love hitting targets and seeing the impact of your work? If you said yes to both questions, this Business Development Manager role (based in London & South East) could be the perfect role for you.

Apply promptly! A high volume of applicants is expected for the role as detailed below, do not wait to send your CV.

Whos it for and whats in it for you?

Its not often you get chance to work with a genuinely ‘world first’ product portfolio, but you do with our client. Their mission is to alleviate the symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes for patients around the world, using truly revolutionary therapy devices. They’re headed up by real business experts and industry veterans too. All of this means they have a product that’s genuinely different, sitting between pharmaceutical intervention and surgical intervention.

With 1.4 million people in the US alone diagnosed with diabetes each year, the work they’re doing is hugely important in making people’s lives better. And backed by vast amounts of data, trials, and case studies, they’ve recently been CE-marked so are now on the road to launching into Europe, making it a great time to join them as they start to rapidly grow.

As for working there, you can expect a benefits package that includes things like a 40% bonus, access to some wheels (via a car allowance), and a strong pension scheme.

What will your day to day look like?

Growth is the key here - this role is available because of growth and is all about growth. Success looks like meeting sales targets for the London & South East region and building new and existing accounts. Relationship building sits at the heart of this role, so you’ll really get to know customers and what makes them tick, to get the best out of every account. Your day to day might look a little like this:

* Creating and implementing sales strategies for your region
* Managing all sales activities in your area
* Building and maintaining great relationships with customers
* Making sure all customers get top-tier customer service
* Leading on product training sessions
* Working closely with other teams to boost sales performance

This role will suit you if you...

* Have at least 3 years of medical device sales experience
* Are used to hitting and exceeding your targets
* Understand the medical industry – ideally including gastro/obesity/diabetes
* Love giving great customer service
* Are super-organised and great at managing your own time
* Have a commercial mind and are great at spotting new opportunities

You’ll also be travelling across your region, so having a driving license and being comfortable visiting client sites is a key requirement for this role.

Think this could be your next role?

Then we’d love to hear from you! If you’re interested in applying or would like to see the full job description for this role, please get in touch with Sarah on sarah.cavanagh@fmctalent.com
