What You Will Be Doing
Creating precise Academic Data Reports and performing structured analysis to identify issues, detect outliers, and initiate corrections within 48 hours
Delivering immediate-response support calls and facilitating post-assessment coaching to eliminate barriers, distinguish understanding deficits from mistakes, and sustain student engagement
Assessing and integrating new educational applications and resources while building AI and LLM prototypes to advance learning methods and address particular obstacles
Collaborating with leadership to enhance tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor continues to develop
What You Won't Be Doing
Attending endless meetings or delivering generic presentations with no visibility into actual results
Grading assignments, developing lesson plans, or administering conventional educational programs—AI and innovation power our approach
Working only at the strategic level without execution or being confined to repetitive tasks—this role is hands-on and evolving
Learning Designer Key Responsibilities
Accelerate student learning outcomes through AI-powered analysis and real-time academic intelligence, evidenced by improved indicators such as 2× learning velocity, application engagement, lesson mastery, response precision, and decreased negative learning behaviors throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.
Basic Requirements
Proven experience in data science or similar field, education, EdTech, or a student-focused position combining analytical and interpersonal dimensions
Competence in Google Sheets data manipulation (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
Strong emotional intelligence, excellent communication abilities, and a coaching approach suited to children
Track record building workflows and automations using AI
Nice-to-have Requirements
Foundation in learning science, educational theory, or proven success enhancing outcomes through data-informed approaches
Familiarity with Generative AI, prompting methods, and foundational coding knowledge (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for interacting with AI APIs

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
